Suggestions for Additional Activities
1. Pick an initial digraph (ch, sh or wh). Say the sound. Make new names for your friends by replacing the beginning sound. Mary can change to Chary, Shary and Whary.
2 Say a simple word that begins with a digraph. Change the digraph to make a new word. For instance, "chop" changes to "shop" or "whop" when you replace the "ch".
